I lived in a city called Reston in Virginia, about 20 miles from D.C. I like D.C. better than New York. I used to drive to the National Mall every weekend and spend hours and hours at the museums. I have many fond memories of those times.
Yes, Clinton was in charge at the time. And Monica-di had already become famous.
Babu, This is the best photo in this album. I don't know if this has happened by accident, but the photo initially seemed to me to be a satelite image of an arid area or an impressionist painting! Then I recognized the cherry blossoms after looking at the title. Well done indeed! A pleasant surprise for me!

I have seen the cherry festival in Washington D.C. Washington was the first city in the United States I came to. It's one of my most favorite cities.
I can see why. I had a very different idea of Washington before I visited it. Now I wouldn't mind living there for a while.
The cherry festival was great, only it was too crowded.
you lived in DC too? In the Clinton era?
